{ETA: grrrr. . . sorry about the lack of pic in the original post. i always write my posts in Windows Live Writer and for some reason, when i went to publish yesterday, there was a glitch. at the same time, the tornado sirens here were going off and we had to head for the basement. to ensure i didn't lose my "copy", i pasted it as a draft into my blog, but it wasn't supposed to publish. supposed is the operative word here. so for those on the email subscription, i am so sorry for the double emails. i just hope the digi-page is worth it! :) love ya!}
almost one month later and i'm back! the fan in my laptop has been replaced, along with the keyboard, and i'm now playing catch-up. on may 15th, i did get in an email from kissed studio about a free new template and contest coordinated with shabby miss jenn. sooooo excited! it's an awesome template and i encourage you to download it and play.
here's the first page i made with it:
{template: kissed studio #16; papers from shabby miss jenn: brackets-trashed, folded-trashed; fonts: century gothic, flux architect, clefs}
i hope you caught the reference to the lyrics of Wild-Eyed Southern Boys, by .38 Special. ummm, if you didn't. . . :) anyway, luv luv luv that song! and now tanner is a fan, too.
if you've got any questions on any of the techniques i used, just post a comment and i'll answer. i touched up each of the photos, blended the large image and "burned" the edges of the 10x8 layout.
p.s. the template comes in 12x12 and 10x8. i think for this type of storyboard layout, the 10x8 looks better. yes, i remembered after completing my 12x12 and wondered why it didn't look the way i wanted. ;)

Oh my gosh! This page is perfect! Love the photos (swwwwwoooooooning if I were younger!). The background .. the layout ... YAYYY!
